Day Five

Mt. Fuji & The Natural Hot Springs.

It was a clear blue sky day and Mt. Fiji was glowing. Mt. Fiji is the highest mountain in Japan reaching 12,388 ft (1). It was such an experience to see a mountain so tall and beautiful. Mt. Fiji is still an active volcano but has not erupted since the early 1700’s (2). Since we were not climbing the mountain we decided to experience the culture and to go a natural hot springs located near the mountain. Once we arrived at the hot springs we found out that hot springs are enjoyed naked but don’t worry the one that we went to was gender separated. It ended up being a great experience. Here are some pictures of the mountain as well as the hot springs.
